Diabetes causes great economic poverty

Diabetes has turned out to be a very profitable business, drawing huge payments from insurance companies and patients, according to 2009 news and industry reports.

"Patients who receive appropriate care ring up less than 10 percent of the medical costs of patients whose disease is poorly managed. That means a $5,000 annual medical bill for the healthiest diabetes patiets, compared to $60,000 for patients who bounce in and out of the hospital with emergencies and complications," according to Managing Editor Lola Butcher writing for Managed Care.

In her copyrighted article, Multifaceted Diabetes Program Pays Off for Health Partners, she explained that this disease represents the most costliest challenges for health care and insurance companies.

However, despite insurance and other funding sources, many diabetics have out of pocket expenses, forcing them into poverty as shown in the photograph above.

In Trenchville City, many have been pushed into the poverty zone living in shanty shacks because they get fired from their jobs when they have been determined to be a diabetic, especially those who offend other by injecting insulin. This author worked a construction job in Wyoming and this big tough dude always turned the other way and closes his eyes while this author injected  insulin. This author also had a staph infection and in suddenly got fired. Also while working at a bank, he had been threatened with possible termination, and had been fired from another job because his diabetes caused bad odors.

"When Steven Orr accepted a pharmacist position with Wal-Mart in 1998, he never expected that his diabetes would eventually trigger his dismissal," according to an article penned by By Dan Lawton for Opednews, In the article, How a Bizarre Catch-22 Has Gutted Disability Protection in America provides evidence that disability claims would not apply because a diabetic can treat his or her disease with insulin. So no rights, and an almost racist attitude toward diabetics pushes them into the "Other People" category. And here they go across the railroad tracks and into the Trenchville City Shanty Town where no electricity and running water existed.

According to a 2006 BBC new article Workers with diabetes lose jobs, the writer stated that "A taxi driver and a cake factory worker are among those whose employment was affected by their illness. "The main problem for diabetics is other people's ignorance," the article quoted taxi driver Pat Flynn.

But few care, the doctors, the drug companies and pharmacists all want to make big bucks and they quickly blame someone else or someone's actions rather than take any responsibility.

As you will note in the sidebar article to the right, the privileged dictate your health and your death. Treating diabetes has more to do with the privileged status than right or wrong or the privileged or the non-privileged. In the end, power leads to corruption and your loss of health.  If most doctors really cared about your health, they would investigate any claim made by a drug sales person before accepting their word as the correct treatment of diseases.

The privileged gets to prosper

Hello, my name is Bambino Blama, President of the Trenchville Medical Association. I realize you diabetics suffer from the cost associated with your care. But if you had not eaten all that bad greasy food and had eaten right, you would not be in your fix today. We are not self-centered doctors but offer drugs as a means of keeping your alive without injecting insulin.

Of course, we should profit at your expense because we are members of the privileged class. As long as we don't kill popular stars and singers, and you die, we don't have to worry. You see, when a doctor gives a drug and kills a famous person, then the doctor can find him or herself in a deep legal toilet because that person he or she actually killed happened to be more privileged than the doctors.

So your poverty issue comes down to who is the most privileged. In the case of Michael Jackson he earned a status of higher privileged status than his doctor. So you see, we have a right to brain wash diabetics into taking those drugs, and when the drugs fail, we can just blame the diabetics that way we maintain our privileged status and make you think you are worthless piece of crap who just did not do it right. Of course, we could tell you to take insulin, but then we would not get the benefit of kickbacks from the drug companies, paid trips to a Continuing Medical Education programs where the drug companies will tell us to just drug the living toilet residue out of the diabetics.

And if you question a doctor, know one will listen because you are not a member of the privileged class called doctors. Just like when people would not listen to criticism of Hitler in 1936, no one will listen to you. Think about it. You criticize Hitler but everyone now has a job. He has done so much good for Germany who would have a right to question him. Doctors gave penicillin and saved lives. Doctors have taken quick action on a head injury and saved lives, so if you question us when we give diabetic pills, no one will believe you because people have now been trained like Pavlov's dogs through rewards. They see a doctor in a white coat and think here comes the man or woman who will save me an heal me. I am sorry, but the only truly miracle healer that ever existed was a man named Jesus, and we will not see another Jesus. But we know that society has been trained just like Pavlov's dogs and anyone who questions us is nothing but a nut case, some demonized person who has less rights than the devil. So just write me a check for $100,000 and just shut up. As long as I don't kill someone famous, I will get away with giving you pills, even though, you might die from diabetes.

Here you take these little blue pills and see if that doesn't make you feel better. If you still feel ill, come back tomorrow, and we will charge you again and offer you a different pill, and if they doesn't completely restore your health, we can give you a different pill. In reality, you just need to live on a 300 per day calorie. If you don't try harder as starving yourself, then you will die. Of course this is 2009, but we use the same methods we did before the discovery of insulin. We give you a pill, pretend the drug will actually do something and have you starve yourself. Of course, you will become sexually impotent, you will likely become fired when your intestines acts up and you start passing gas at work. You may vomit in the morning and have to visit the bathroom a lot due to diarrhea, but that is the price you pay
